Exploration, Excitement, Experiences. They're what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. And no, you don't have to be “advanced” to take it – it's designed so you can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water Diver course.

For your Advanced Open Water academic training, there is an on-line option. Come to Destin ready to dive! The PADI Advanced Open Water course is all about diving! 5 dives make up the program (over 2 days)! All divers will make the Deep Dive (between 60 and 100 feet) and the Navigation Dive.

The remaining 3 dives are your choice:

  • Deep Dive (required)
  • Navigation Dive (required)
  • Nitrox Dive
  • Boat Dive
  • Wreck Dive
  • Night Dive
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
  • Search & Recovery Dive

  • and More

The 5 dives can be made in as little as a weekend – or dive at your own pace, collecting the dives at your leisure and paying as you go! You are in charge! All 5 dives count towards the specialty. You will have already done the first dive, for the specialty certification.
