About Our Swim Lessons
At Emerald Coast Scuba & Science Sea, our swim lessons are designed to build confidence, safety, and a lifelong love of the water—all in a fun, supportive environment.
Located in Destin, Florida, we work with children of all ages and abilities, from infants taking their very first splash to older kids developing strong, independent swim skills. Our instructors focus on water safety first, while still making every class engaging, encouraging, and age-appropriate.
We offer a variety of lesson options to meet each family’s needs, including:

Parent & Tots (6 months–3 years)
A playful, bonding-focused class where parents join their little ones in the water to introduce basic water comfort, floating, and movement skills. -
Youth Swim Lessons (ages 3–12)
Skill-building lessons that focus on floating, breath control, kicking, arm movement, and water safety—perfect for beginners through advancing swimmers. -
Spec Ops (Special Abilities Swim Lessons)
A small-group class with a 4-child maximum, created specifically for swimmers with special abilities. This class emphasizes comfort, routine, patience, and individualized instruction to ensure every child feels safe and supported.
All lessons are taught in our private, controlled pool environment, allowing for better focus, comfort, and learning. Our instructors are experienced, compassionate, and passionate about helping kids succeed at their own pace.

Fill out the quick registration form and submit payment to secure your spot.
⚠️ Spots are limited to keep classes safe and effective, especially for Parent & Tots and Spec Ops lessons. We recommend registering early.
